Quick Update

It's been nothing but baseball, baseball, baseball at our house. If we are not at the ballfield for all star practice (4 nights/wk) then it's on the TV. (IF Noah will allow Dora and Diego to be turned off for a while!) Noah has been home this week because he has a viral infection in his mouth that causes ulcers. Poor little man was hurting so bad Tuesday and Wednesday! It was pitiful! He was much better today but still has a few more days of healing to go........Kaleb has his first tournament for AllStars this weekend! It's about 45 miles away from our house so it will be a long drive followed by a long day of baseball followed by a long drive....2 days in a row!! Oh well! We will make it....and I will post some pics next time...until then here is a picture that I haven't posted before.....

Baby Boy???

Noah said something today that I have to share….



He and I were sitting on the couch watching The Wonder Pets and at the end when they got the baby animal back to it’s mama, Noah said “Dat’s mama” and I said “yep that’s his mama, where’s your mama?” And just like every other 300,000 times that we’ve done this, he said “Right dere” pointing to me and just like I’ve asked 300,000 times before I said, “Yep, Where’s my baby?” and instead of saying
“right dere” pointing to himself (like he has those 300,000 times before)……..... he said.......pointing to his chest........... “dat not baby, dat boy”


WHAT???? It brought a tear to my eye! (Little does he know that he will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS be my baby no matter what!!! ALWAYS!!!!!!)





I'm sure I had a pouty lip like this one after he said that.....

Pitcher Pictures!!!

School is officially out for summer for the boys and Kaleb got his summer mohawk on Wednesday before the big game!

He pitched the entire game against the #2 team (his team is #1)

You better watch out batter cuz here it comes!!!

If I remember correctly this was the 3rd strike....YOU'RE OUT!!!!

They ended up with a score of 6 to 6 so they remain undefeated!!! There's one game left and then ALL STAR practice begins!!!

We need a pitcher.....

Actually, I need a PICTURE of the PITCHER!!
Kaleb started baseball a few weeks ago and has really taken to pitching!! He really is pretty good!! At the start of the season, he said that he would play any position except pitcher but everyone on the team has to practice the different positions so that the coach can see who can do what... Anyway, the coach thought he had potential as pitcher so Kaleb reluctantly agreed to try it out and now he loves it!!! I have a few pictures of him in action this season except for a good pitching picture!! They have 4 games next week so maybe I can get a good one then!! OH Yeah, we got a call tonight from the coach....he was chosen for the All Star team!! ~~The best from each team is chosen to make up 1 team and then they play different teams in the region(?? I think that's how it is...) He is so excited!!! So that means extra weeks of baseball this summer!!!

Noah has a new bed!!

We finally decided to get Noah out of our bedroom/bed! He now has a bed in the room that has been waiting for him to sleep in for 2 years!!


He hates to have his picture taken these days so I snapped this one after his bath one night when he was wrapped up tight and couldn't get away!! HEE HEE!!!



This is the new bed...we sat it on the floor so that if he falls off, it won't be that far....




"What you talkin' 'bout, Mama???"


"Can't like it!!!!" (Noah's favorite thing to say when he doesn't like something!)

"Okay, I'll try it out for a minute....

Nope....Can't like it!!!!"

After about 45 minutes of fussing and talking and doing anything he can to get out of going to sleep, he finally zonked out .....in ....his....new....BED!!!!!!!!!

Of course he hasn't slept alone in it yet....Jacob and Kaleb are in there with him...they take turns: one sleeps with him one night while the other sleeps on the floor next to them and then the next night they trade.... Silly Boys!! I slept ok for a few nights but now I wake up 20 times/night to look at the monitor.....UUUGGGGHHH!!! Oh well, it's progress....Now we have to start the potty training..... :0( Can't like it!!!

Catching up....

Since I am officially out of school for 12 WEEKS, I will try to blog more (no promises!) but I have to catch up on things first.
We'll start with Easter. Steve's parents came over from Texas and stayed a few days and then my family came to our house on Sunday to have dinner. It was a great day of family fun!!

The Easter Bunny brought Noah a cute little singing dancing bunny....If only I could have gotten a good pic of the cute smile on his face!

and Addison!! (for those of you that do not have kids....BEWARE....Grandparents do that kind of stuff because they don't have to deal with them later....just so you know...)

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY, NOAH!!!!!

Noah's 2nd birthday party was 2 weeks ago but I'm just now getting time to post about it. We had a little party at the park along with my niece, Addison.(for her 1st birthday) I can NOT believe that my baby is 2 YEARS OLD!!!!
I have lots of pictures but will have to post them in several posts because blogger takes TOO LONG!! So, here goes......
