Jacob had his honor band concert a couple of weeks ago and it was sooo good!! So handsome in his suit and tie!!

Kaleb was a little jealous of Jacob getting to dress up in his suit so we found Jacob's old one for him to try on...

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!

It's hard to believe that it's 2009! I pray that this is the year that I will stick to the plan to lose weight and be healthy. This is the year that K will hit the double digits and J will become a teenager -----eeeeekkkkk-----. Noah will continue to grow and say new things!! Steve will continue to advance in his job and find peace with himself. I pray, pray, pray that I will graduate and become a Registered Nurse in December of this year......(((fingers crossed, toes crossed, eyes crossed)))
I also pray that my boys will be happy and that Steve and I can live our lives by example so that our children will grow up to be well rounded men with a love for the Lord and unshakeable faith!!

I have a busy 5 months coming up with school so I may not be able to post very often so........until then, here's some pictures of the first couple of days in 2009!!

The past two weeks.....

......have been very busy! Steve's parents came to visit for a week and during that time Jacob had his Christmas Band Concert. Then, the day after they left to go home, we went to their house in Texas to have Christmas with them and Steve's sister and family. We had lots of fun and went to the Tutankhamun exhibit. That was pretty cool! Lots of reading but good stuff! Then we left there on Tuesday before Christmas to get home in time for Jacob's orthodontist appt, then we had Christmas with my parents and my brother and his family at my parents house on Christmas! WHEW!!

Jacob looking handsome in his suit for the concert and the one below is w/ his band director. Just a side note here, Jacob made 2nd chair saxophone in honors band. (that's out of all of the local JR HIGH schools) So proud of him!!!! Way to go, Jacob!!!

As you can see, we had a great time these past 2 weeks.

Steve goes back to work tomorrow.....The big boys and I have 1 more week until we return to school....And Noah will say bye bye to his NU-NU (pacifier) this week.....it should be interesting. I'll let ya'll know how that goes... Please PRAY!!!!! (he loves that thing!!)
