Craziness!!!
This has been the craziest week already! I started nursing school and the big boys got sick!! Both boys were running fever--that's it. Just fever. The doctor said it was a virus and to treat the fever. Well, they didn't have to go back to school Monday but I did so they had to stay with my dad. Tuesday morning they were still running fever soooo another day with Paw Paw, but this time they were missing school. Well, today Jacob went to school but Kaleb still had fever so he got to keep Paw Paw and the dogs company again. I feel like a bad mommy because the big boys have not been sick very much at all and now they have to go and get sick when I have to go to school..... I feel terrible for not being able to stay home with them! On top of that, I don't like asking anyone to keep my kids and my Dad has been so good to keep them for me!!!! Thanks, Daddy!!!!!
Anyway, enough rambling on about that. We had a really good weekend with Steve's parents. (even though the boys were sick most of the time) They got to see Kaleb play 2 basketball games and make 2 baskets at the Friday game!! Go, Kaleb!!!! We also had Christmas with them and we were all excited about our gifts...Thanks Everyone!!!
Got to go study now!! Also, Jacob has way too much homework and needs help!!

New Year....New Stuff

2008 is here!!!
I was kind of sad to see 2007 go but I am looking forward to what 2008 brings!
2007 brought us our sweet Noah and in 2008 he will be 1 year old! Not an infant anymore....SAD! But that is how it's supposed to be so I will deal with it. (although I will miss my "little" baby)
I pray that this year will bring great things to our family...continued good health, good grades for the boys (and me), satisfaction at work for Steve and hopefully a trip or two.
Also, I have made a vow to God and myself to walk closer to Him this year and help my boys with their spiritual journeys as well.
I pray that everyone that reads this blog will have a wonderful and blessed 2008!!!!

Christmas 2007
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!
We did! We were awakened very early to see what Santa had brought and start Noah's first Christmas morning. He was so excited just to sit there and watch his brothers tear into the presents. He would clap ever so often and laugh out loud. Very cute!! The boys were happy with their presents after a little disappointment. We hid one of the presents that they really, really wanted and were kind of sulking because they thought they didn't get it. When we finally showed it to them, they were SO excited--jumping around and screaming!! We went to my parents house for lunch and to exchange presents with them and my brother and his family. The food was sooooo good!!! Of course we all pigged out and ate way too much but that's what Christmas dinner is about, right? After that we went home, Noah and I took a nap and Steve and Kaleb put together the basketball goal and Jacob played his games.
It was a great Christmas Day!
And the most important of all ---Happy Birthday, Jesus!
Until next year........................
Debbie :)
(p.s. Does anyone even look at this blog??? If so, leave us a comment. The boys love to look and see if anyone has left comments----Thanks! )Wednesday, December 19, 2007
Just the boys....
....a busy week with the boys!!!
Kaleb had his first basketball game on Friday night. They won 12-zip! He was so excited!! He did very well for his first time. He's still not as aggressive as he needs to be but it will come to him. Way to go, K-dawg!!
Noah and I went with my friend Stacy and her baby, Karson, to take pictures with Santa yesterday. He was so cute!!! He almost jumped off of Santa's lap when he opened that book. He was so excited, my sweet baby!!
Jacob had his first band concert last night! He was soooo nervous! But they sounded so good!!! (So much better than I thought a beginner band would sound!!) You ROCK, Jacob!!!
Also Steve was in Wyoming for several days and took some pics of the snow.
These are some wild mustangs in the snow!!!
The fire truck came around the neighborhood with Santa on top.
Can you guess who Santa is?????
Here's one song played during the concert.(remember to pause the Martina song that is playing)

Just a day at the museum...
...Christmas Days at the Rural Life Museum!!
We had a great time yesterday at the RLM! Jacob and Kaleb brought friends with them (they are brothers, too), so we had 5 boys to keep up with. They did great!! I think they had a really good time--they sure acted like it. Except poor Kaleb when we were around the guns, he sat away from us because he can't stand the loud noise. So he missed out on shooting the muzzle loaders and rolling down the hill. But he had fun climbing a tree and plowing the feild! I got some really good pics (only a few are posted above). I took 280 pictures! Not all came out but alot of them did. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the day!
